ABOUT KING’S KIDS:
King’s Kids is one of the most exciting ministries of the Lighthouse Baptist Church. Our dedicated van and bus drivers volunteer to safely transport children in our area to and from our church services. Once they arrive, they will be greeted by our staff of voluenteers who are eager to help in any way needed. The purpose of this ministry is to inform these young people of the great love that God has for them through his son Jesus Christ. Through Kings Kids, they are offered lessons from the Bible on their level. They will sing, have activities, crafts and even special events. This includes a Wednesday night service tailored just for them. We would love to have your whole family visit our church, but if that’s not possible, we believe your children would love to part of Kings Kids.
Luke 18:16 But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.
Miss Anna Harkins: Well, I can truly say that I was raised in church! From a very young age, I have sat under good, solid preaching and received the same kind of teaching at home from my parents. I am so thankful that I have a goodly heritage! After making several false professions and struggling with doubts of my salvation in my younger years, I got my salvation settled when I was 12! It was on a Thursday night, August 9, 2012 that I trusted Christ as my Saviour and praise God, it’s settled, I’m saved!!! I can’t thank the Lord enough for leading my family and I to LBC. I am so thankful for the truth that is preached and for the many opportunities to serve the Lord. I thank the Lord for the privilege to play the piano for King’s Kids each week. It’s something I love doing and look forward to. I can’t wait to see what the Lord has in store for me on down the road! “Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.” Psalm 16:11
Transportation is provided and all kids need to have a parental permission form turned in
